my mercury 40 CV 2T / 1 carburator is capricious !
Last time i use my boat the fuel line disconect from the fuel tank, so the motor loose rpm and then stall.
I found the prob reconect the fule line , pump to put petrol in the carb, i check that essence is in the carb by opening purge screw on the carb : ok petrol flow.
but nothing to do the motor doesnt restart ! Try starter no starter , max gaz ect nothing to do !
i think there was a breakdown, but at home i found how to restart the motor, it restart only if manually you wide open the trotlle!
after this first start the motor start on 1/4 turning key !!!!
Is it normal on mercury or have i a pb on carb?
