Mercury 650 65hp seal kit?

I have what I believe is an 1969 Kiekhaefer Mercury 650 65hp outboard motor serial No. 2716549. I was told that I needed to change the seals because of water getting into my oil. Can anyone direct me to the seal kit for my boat motor. Im a new boat owner and I dont have the slightest idea and dont want to get the wrong kit. Seen them on ebay but am really not sure just what one to get. Have a guy who will put the seal kit on for me...just need advice as to what kit to buy. Thanks in advanced.

If you take a look at www.oldmercs.com it will give you a good idea of what you need for that motor. I have the same motor in the 200 version. They haven't done me wrong yet. I believe you need part number 26-55682A1 or Sierra 18-2653. Do some googling and you can find it a lot cheaper. Here at Iboats I think it was 59.99. With a quick look this is what I found.

Its an easy job if you have a book and go slow. The only thing is you need to get the cover nut off, I brought mine up to a local shop and he did it for free. Since he had the right tool it took him a couple min.
