Hey guys, first just want to say im new to the site, but I have used this site many times for engine problems, and you guys are a big help.
Well finally I have a problem where I have to post a thread.
I have a 75 Mercury 650 and it idles ok and runs ok when not under load. The second i put it in water it still idles ok, but when given throttle it bogs and then picks up then is starts to run rough. At full throttle it only runs 2700 rpm. when it used to run 4100 rpm. After a while of running around, it seems to get a little better, but knowere where it used to be.
I have already done a carb rebuild, im thinking it might be the air/fuel mix, or the timing is off. Can anyone help?? I also posted a video of it running at WOT, its not the best video, but you can hear how it runs.
