Nobody (as I could tell) mentioned trim tabs. Your comment about people sitting in stern seats....aka adjacent to the engine just magnifies your stern heavy condition. Next the load you are wanting to carry in that boat is a lot......a lot more than I would expect to have in that boat.

Next your chines (area where the sides meet the bottom) are rounded on that hull (had an 18' Holiday IO) and rounded chines don't produce good planing characteristics.....a "reverse chine like Crestliner boats use is much better for getting loads up and away.

I have half a dozen Hustler alum props in 3 and 4 blade that I was fooling around with at one time. As Jimmbo mentioned, the 4 blade variety wasn't my prop of choice when the dust settled.

The Nemesis has been a very good seller, at my Dealers Parts Counter, and the Parts Manager has told me that a lot of buyers say good things about it.

Nice Place to go boating. I hope there aren't too many Rocks to hit

Returning to Sea Level, you might need more than a 2" increase, 5000 ft is a fair change in Air Density

Thanks @jimmbo it would be great to need a 19p, and I don't have a lot of experience picking props. The trial and error method is my goto haha and its hard to find places that let you return props. I usually do not boat much lower than this because of the crowds. That lake we boat at is a gem up here - nice beaches, and only a few spots with rocks. Luckily I know them all because we go there often and they aren't marked. I can see why the nemesis is a good seller. Whatever they did to that prop was right!! Its fairly inexpensive too and just blew me away with its performance.

Charts exist showing the HP penalty as a function of altitude. 5k' is getting on up there and you may have half as much HP as you (and most of us) would have/do have at sea level. I'd say you would be looking at a significant reduction in pitch for desired performance.

Prop shops will loan you a propeller to test so that you only have to make the purchase once. Requirement is that you buy the prop from them and yes it will cost more obviously.....but that is probably cheaper than your buying 3 or 4 (cheaper) props searching for the right one.
