Mercury 850 Thunderbolt re: Wiring Diagram

Hi guys have a Mercury 850 Thunderbolt which I am working on and another job I need to do (seems never ending) is too wire up a new ignition/choke switch as I am not using the old Mercontrol but instead a new aftermarket one I have.

Going to order a new ignition switch that I can wire into the front dash but have a question on the wiring.

The serial number for motor is 7033853.

Hopefully someon has an image of the wiring, if you need further information form my side to locate exact wiring ask away.

According to my information that motor is a 1974 Model. I have a diagram for a 1975 850 which may be the same. Does your motor have the distributor ignition? 1976 models went to the CDI ignition which I also have the diagram for. Send a pm for more info.

Do date a Mercury by serial # try the followind site;
