I bought a used 2004 9.9 Mercury. My question is, is the 9.9 same as the Big Foot 9.9, if they are differant than in which way. I have the 15" shaft. Answers greatly appreciated.
Nope, bigfoot has a bigger foot (about 33% bigger gears/shaft etc) & a taller gear ratio (std - 2.08:1, bigfoot - 2.42:1). Bigfoot is only available with a 20 or 25" leg.<br /><br />Everything else is the same.
