Mercury 90 hp ELPTO

New member to this site, Excellant forum, learned alot in the last week of reading posts....one question I had is I just purchased a boat 2000 Fisher 170 HawkSS 18 foot with a Merc 90 hp ELPTO. What does ELPTO stand for, dont have a manual for the outboard. Thanks

E = electric start<br /><br />L = long shaft<br /><br />PT= power trim<br /><br />O = oil injection.<br /><br />Not bad for a John/Rude guy-eh!
