Mercury 90HP Sport Jet coil

Hi all,

Please if someone could just give me some ino.
I bought replacement cols for this Mercury engine (part#339-7370a13).
Now in the package there is this carbon-like small tube included. What's the function of that? I'm sorry for the stupid question but I'd appreciate any info.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard Charlie,... You're in the Wrong forum,...
You need to post in the Jet-ski forum, as your boat is just an oversized Jet-ski...

I'll see if I can get a Mod. to move it for you...
