Hi there,

Just a quick question about the above engine. I bought it recently with a fishing boat - a 17 foot wilson flyer/ dory type.
The propeller on the engine is some sort of plastic one and has 14x13B stamped on it.
Is this the right size prop for an engine of this size?! It does sound a little small but then this fishing boat is quite big and heavy so it may be o.k?!

Many thanks in advance:D

You need to check your RPM at WOT to find out if thats the right prop it should turn about 5500 RPM in a average load condition.

Thanks for the reply Laddies, I thought that might be the most logical way to test it but as the boat and engine still need a lot of work its gona be some time before she actually goes on her maiden voyage!!

Just thought that a prop of that size (14'') seemed a bit small for the engine but when the work is all completed I will see how she performs.

Thanks again,
Mark.
