Mercury Classic 50 (45 hp) blows fuse.

Need help. My Mercury Classic 50 is blowing the fuse, every time the key is turned to the ON position. Looked for a shorted wire, but couldn't seem to find one. The motor is an 1988 model, I believe. Any help would be great, Thanks!

You have a short or a ground some place about all you can do is trace it out wire by wire and unhook things till you run it down.
