mercury ignition switch

Bought a new ignition switch for 1998 mercury. The wire colors don't match and any way I hook it up, the choke stays on all the time. The switch came from Overton's and is suspose to be the right one. Does anybody know which switch i should get.

A 1998 Merc should have the universal wire colors. Black is ground, Black/yellow is ignition kill, purple is +12VDC accessory wire, Red is unfused +12VDC, Yellow/red is starter solenoid, choke is white, tach signal is grey(I think).

Do these colors work?

Correction, Tach signal is grey, choke is white (I think).
