Mercury Jet 45 dies at WOT

Hi fellas,
I've been dealing with the same problem for about a month, and am at my wit's end.

A month ago, took the boat out and it didn't seem to have great wot rpm. It then proceeded to die at wot and started back up again. It will run along just fine at 1/2 to maybe just past 1/2 throttle, but at wide open, it runs about 15 seconds, then starts to bog down, and done. It will start up again, but not real easily. This motor started right away when you touched the key before.
Here's what I've checked.
Backing into the water w/the boat on the trailer:
Red Stator Kit--Blue wire to switch box 270-300 Volts on the DVA
240 volts on each coil at idle
About 7 psi fuel pressure
Disconnected the Rev Limiter
Disconnected the yellows from stator to voltage regulator.
Siphoned a gallon of gas from the tank and found virtually no water (maybe an ounce)
Went through every inch of carbs, fuel hose, (My pressure gauge is in between the 2 and 3 carb

When the motor is at WOT it'll be o.k. for about 10-30 seconds and the rpms will start to drop off a bit, then more rapidly and finally the thing stops like it hit a brick wall. During this time, the blue wire from the stator never shows a drop in voltage, fuel pressure doesn't change, and I can't say for the 2 and 3 coils, but for sure (started raining on me), the 1 coil voltage doesn't drop off.
Also, the motor sometimes sounds a bit rattly now (I know, sorry for the vague reference), but it almost sounds like something could be loose inside...

Could this be a timing thing???
I haven't ever messed with timing, and I don't think it would change that drastically from one trip to the next, but who knows????

I don't want to take this thing in to the shop, seeing as I've had everything off of it now, but I'm getting some pressure from the wife...
HELP!!!
Thanks Guys,
Aaron

Just Checked my trigger leads and had 1.2k on each trigger lead (from CDI's Test Page)

I'll check compression tomorrow. Does anyone know good values for this motor --it's really just a 60 hp 2 stroke 3 cyl (1995)???
I checked number 2 and got 105 but lost some pressure after a couple of minutes...
