If you were to pick 1 manual for your Mercury outboard...which one would you recommend?

Thanks,

The only one that covers the engine well is the OEM but it's a little pricey.

Re: Mercury manual....which one?

I bought all three manuals (Mercury, Clymer, & Seloc) when I first bought my boat as a newbie. My wife thought I was crazy but I found it very helpful to be able to check all three manuals when I was unsure about something. I found each manual had something to offer the other two did not. The Clymer and Seloc have nice pics and more general info and tips that can be quite helpful to a newbie, like I was at one time. The Merc manual is the bible for specific tune up and repair information.

OK Thanks for the info. I think I will start with the SELOC and work my way up to the OEM. Now I just get a generic 2-250 HP manual? I did not see something more specific to my engine.
