I understand thread and pitch, my boat is in storage and can't get at it to check the plug size till spring. This is the drain plug for the engine oil. Need the thread and pitch #'s to buy the EZ drain system, they have like 12 different sizes.
I saw that page, the 1.25x1.25x2.25 measurements are for the size of the box the plug comes in. Thank you for taking the time though, and yes it's for the engine oil drain. I attached a pic of the system I'm looking at, this one is 18x1.5 and too large. When everything is installed, you remove the brass cap, screw on the drain tube and the oil starts flowing. Slick and no mess.Just to be sure, 'This is for the "Engine" oil drain / Plug area?
