Mercury Outboard 6hp

I have an old 6hp. Mercury outboard. On thing I'm not sure of the year, it is the year they were white color. There is a water pump problem, I see no water coming from the motor. Thanks for anyone's help.<br /><br /> emitch0323

You will need to post the motors serial number in order to find out the year...

The serial plate is gone.

Can you post some pics and maybe someone familiar with it will be able to identify the year or get close to it ??
