Mercury outboard wieght chart

Hello, I’m looking for the weight for my 1975 500 and the weight of a 1981 800.
Can anyone point me to a chart please?
Checking to see if my boat will handle the extra weight.

Gee, weight is not usually the issue. The amount of power the boat can safely handle is the issue. Both those motors are likely inline 4, 2 cycle engines. The weight difference is minimal. The power is 60% more for the 800.

I recall 180 and 240 LBS.

I can only testify that my 1992 four cylinder 40 up Merc two stroke weighs in right at 200 lbs with ptt.
