Mercury shift handle..

Okay, I have spent 4 hours searching everything I can, I just picked up a 1967 Mercury 9.8 tiller steer motor, it is in great shape, runs fantastic, but the only caveat, the shifter handle is broken off, the plastic piece that use to move from F to N R I would like to replace it instead of using a pair of vice grips to control the shifting on this motor.

Anyone know where I might start to look?
