Hey guys how is everyone today! My question is... I just purchased a used Mercury Stainless Quicksilver for 90 Merc. Part # 48 72762 A5 19P Is this a good prop and what is the new model compared to? laser, etc... If you remember my rpms were 2 or 300 high. From what I have read this is cupped and I am hoping this brings it down 2 or 300. Any input is greatly apprecited. thanks

Ya never know til ya try. If it still overrevs a tad, it can be repitched up an inch.

Aluminums can be repitched by up to 2" and stainess can be changed by an inch. Plus or minus.

You could also add a little more cup to that prop, which is cheaper than repitching, and an effective way to decrease RPM.
