Hi again all,

Can anyone advise if all 6 carbs should be getting the same induction and should the top bank be using the same amount of fuel as the lower bank? I ask this as I have noticed that when spraying cleaner into the top two carbs/cylinders I get an immediate reduction in revs where as the middle carbs take a lot more spray to lower the revs and likewise even more spray needs to be put into the lower carbs in order to attain the same reduction in revs, its like the top carbs are the most active and each set below are less active. I notice the burrerfly's are drilled with bigger holes at the top and as you go down the holes are smaller each set.

Can anyone advise please?

Each bore of a carburetor just feeds one cylinder !------So basically you have 6 seperate engines / crankcases with a common block and crankshaft.------------Trouble shooting starts with a compression test.------What are your compression values.
