mercury vesselview

I am installing vesselview to my twin optimax engines.I am using a Simrad GO7 and mercury dual engine link I have all the parts but cant figure out how to change Port engine PCM location and reset to Port Outside.I have diacoms software any help would be great.

Check the system link connectors are in the correct position.
Port = Purple and Yellow wires
Starboard = Purple wires

The problem is to change Port engine PCM location and reset to Port Outside.

If the motor is connected to the wrong data link cable then its not going to work

Hi…as said above from AD is all relevant..in addition is to make sure you have any spare ends properly terminated with a yellow resistor cap. If all else is seen to above…you can then calibrate which is the master helm feed etc.
if that’s not of use, tell me more details of the situation you have and require and I might be able to help further. Do you definitely have the crazy expensive mercury gateway interface?

The wiring is correct what has to be done is one engines PCM needs to be changed to port outside all of the PCMs are factory set the same.When using the old style gauges it did not matter but with vesselview it does matter it can be done with diacom software what I need to know is the procedure.Thanks

I’m not sure I know what you mean. Please excuse my ignorance and earlier post. I was and am a little confused perhaps.
