Message for Goodole boy

Found out what was making my 200 evinrude act up today. Went out on the De. Bay and couldnt get over 10 mph. Came back in and two mechs were there working on another boat and were nice enough to look at mine. Found out I wasnt getting spark to the top right plug. Then went further for me and found that I have a bad power pack on that side. The one mech tapped it with a pair of pliers and it took off with a surge. Tapped again surged again. Tapped the third time took off like a rocket went up to 4500rpm. Dont know the speed. Had taken the gps off. Then had to back down for no wake zone. But thought I would let you know how I made out. Thanks. L. Myer :)

Glad your gaining ground on your problem/lems. Better get those rpm's up to 5500 to 6000. 4500 will kill your engine. Its lugin!

More power to ya!

Lower pitch will increase rpms. But may not increas MPH. But rpms should be in range of 5500 to 6000.

If you go to little pitch you could have troubles with spinning out. not enough bite. especialy in the turns. Youll just have to play oround with it. (Carefully)

How does your anti cav. plate sit. should be even with keel of boat, or near bouts.

What did you come up with for an answer on the green crudy stuff in your carbs.

Good luck!
