Messenger is not working. I can't send PMs

For some reason I cannot send PMs. I click on the persons handle and the menu drops down. If I click on "send a PM" it doesn't do anything. I can get PMs and reply back, I just cannot send them out for some reason. Am I missing something simple?

with the constant upgrading of software it has been effecting some users.... try to open the PM in a new window or tab

none of my Quick links work they are greyed out

I am not sure how to enable messenger in the cp. I went in the menu and I don't see anything. I think it is though cuz I can recieve and reply to them.

I tried to open in a new window as well and it still doesn't work.

It must be the site then and not me. It makes me feel a little better, but I wish it worked.

I am using google chrome and not having any of the slow problems or PM problems...... it seems only a small group of people are having them.

I also use a computer with vista and IE 8 with an entirely different ISP w/o any problems........

I do not know if you are missing a plug in on your browser or perhaps you have an extra plug in that is blocking it.

Hi Everyone,
I spoke with Bob (VT.) earlier and we talked about this issue. I will be looking into this more to see what we can do about it. As of now, I would agree with something that was mentioned before which is to use a different browser. For me, I use diff browsers all the time and it's nice and easy. I'm not trying to push anyone away from Microsoft at all, just want to help alert you of whats working. I do know Firefox is working fine. Bob mentioned that Google Chrome works great for him. I've used Safari and didn't have a problem. So for now, feel free to try one of these to see if it helps you. But I will be sure to try to see what changes can be made.

If you delete your temp files that should clear up your problem. Under Tools in a browser session select Internet Options and under Delete Files make sure you select offline content too.

Until it is corrected, you can right click the user name, select "open in a new tab" and access the PM function.
