Re: Meteor II 90HP

Hi, I have a few questions. I was given this motor and while trouble shooting ran into a few road blocks.
1st. the wires to the key switch were cut and the switch is gone. I have traced down a few but I am unsure about the rest.
2. I need a new voltage regulator, mice got to it.
3. my coil has cracks in it I may need a new one
4 the belt looks warn. and not easy to change...

This is all I found so far besides reall great compression. I am going to get a tester to see what it is, but it is really tight to pull the cord. It moves freely... when the plugs are out.

1. Rewire the whole engine ,would save you a lot of time , GET a manual , while waiting for the manual you might ask me nice for the schematic . droll@online.no
For the high current wires see my previous post .

2. DIY model , see Work in Progress (signatur ).
3. Use a standard car coil ( with external resistor)( bye a Quality coil ,don´t try to save money here )
4. Timing belt #309432 , might be available from dealer ? , takes 20 min to change . ;)
