MFG 1956 Oxford
Just bought my first boat. Looking for a windsheild for it. Anyone know of good place to look for it?
I can make one but would love to get original.
Thanks!!

Locating an exact match will be finding the proverbial needle in the haystack. Hopefully you still have the original. If you do make a pattern using brown craft paper.

Transfer the pattern to a flat sheet of Lexan (not Plexiglas). Cut out your new windshield and use heat guns to form the proper curvature. This is a two person job. Been there and done it.

Best wishes.

Ask this question in the MFG forum in the Owners Group by Manufacturers section. (Keep scrolling down you'll find it outlined in blue) Lots of MFG owners (myself included) who love 'em & many have restored them. Someone there may be able to hook you up. I know if you search iboats.com used boat section in their main site there is a boat salvage yard in Georgia, Dalton I think, that has a few old MFG's sitting around. They may pull & sell you a windshield.
