I believe it is a Convair,not Corvair as that probably would of involved a lawsuit. Anyway as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder,if you like its look thats all that matters.They are probably "rare" and not as desirable as you wrote,[ to most collectors]. It seems to me that a unique hull,lines,fins,or something that is different commands more attention at shows and the local launch ramp.Like I said if you touch her up and have fun with the famliy thats all that matters.To put a ton of money into that particular hull in my eyes would make it very hard to ever recoup if thats what your asking.Maybe fix only what has to be fixed to make her seaworthy then take her out and see if you like the handling etc.
