MFG Westfield waterline?

How far down is the waterline, from gunwale at different points (center line of bow, transom, down 1/2 length of boat), on a 1965 MFG Westfield? My hull is original gelcoat never painted. I'm going to keep this boat in brackish water and need to put ablative paint on and would like to do this without putting in the water to "find" the water line. For gear/motor weight reference, we will have a 75hp 2 cycle , about 225lbs, and no other regular equipment, only 4 seats. thanks for any help.

That would be dependent on hull length,beam,weight, way too much mathput it in the water and mark it

Floating the boat is the best way. Calculating it is next to impossible.

Be sure to paint it an inch or two above the float point. Take into account fuel, battery, gear, coolers, PFDs, and the personal weight of the passengers.

If necessary use cement blocks to simulate and distribute the weight as it would be in actual use. It's a pain in the neck but if you want it accurate and to look right, it's the only way to go.

Boats look so much nicer floating on an accurate waterline.
