Here is something that you might not see everyday. You have to give the owner credit for ingenuity. I saw this on the St. John's at Marker 22 south of Lake George, Fl.Castaway's 226.jpgCastaway's 227.jpgCastaway's 228.jpgCastaway's 229.jpg

I see the remote steering appears to go along the right sponson and under/into the car? Would it be a BUI, DUI...or BOTH:eek:

Permanent, or a way to ferry the car out to some island? I used to have a couple midgets in pieces in my basement - they sure don't weigh anything.

Looking at the thing, it appears that it is permanent. The license plate reads "CARTOON" and there are blocks underneath, you can see where the cables for the steering and controls go up into the car. I have seen it several times, always in the boathouse, never underway. The paint appears flawless from the water but so far all i have seen is the stern.

It appears they're using an old street lamp as the stern light. Wonder what's on the bow.
