Mid 1960's Era Mercruiser Group III Sterndrive - OLD

I'm looking for a Mercruiser Group III sterndrive. Until recently I thought I had just old TR drives but was informed my drives are older than that and from the mid to late 1960’s, and were used on patrol boats in Vietnam. My port drive, upper gears are toast. Consequently, I can't find parts and even if there were parts no one seems to have the tools so I'm looking for the whole drive (upper & lower). These things are big! Anyone have one laying around? Its for a Vintage 1971, 47' BOATEL.

I've never heard of them,so I googeld it,didn't really find anything,but one place said they were used on houseboats,and work boats.
I'd like to see a picture of it,just so I know what they look like!.

Vietnam era Brown water Navy page has a mine sweeper with a MC stern drive. The MSD used a 327 Chevy engine and MerCruiser stern drive. The circular tube is a propeller guard. The hull of the MSD was non-magnetic.
