I have a 70 HP 2 Stroke Yamaha with 3 cylinders and 3 carbs. Back in July I had my boat tank facing the sun and the tank looked like it would burst a couple of times and I would open the vent and take off the pressure. This seems to be an issue with the cover off and how I have it facing. Anyways to sum it up While tied to my pier I found a lot of gas in my bilge. I saw what happened that the motor relieved the gas pressure and I pulled off the disconnect at the motor. The boat seemed to run ok at first and I would pull the disconnect line when I was done for the day. Then while I was out crabbing it began to run very rough and I made my way back home. Now it will not start at all. I see that when I prime my gas ( not a solid prime) the middle bowl fills up and the gas come right out. It seems as though my float is stuck down or that the needle valve is not holding anymore? I have not taken the carb out yet, would like to have a plan of attack what to look for when I have it out.
