middle cyl only works on full tilt

my mercury 3 cyl finally got it to work yesterday starts fine but still running on 2 cyl but when i get up to full trottle middle cylinder starts to fire up then it goes , when i pull back to about half way it sputters and when i pull back more it stars to run on only two cyl, push it full and fires up and goes again , is this a coil,spark plug,wires or timing Thanks.

Could be fuel or spark issue. While running at idle, cover the throat of the middle carb with your hand or a rag for a second, if the middle cylinder comes to life for a second, you have a fuel delivery issue to that carb. Most likely a carb that needs to be cleaned. If no change, then I would start pursuing an ignition issue.

i got the problem with it was a boken wire well allmost rotton green 3 threads left so i change and cleaned up the stator with sand paper now wow what proformance mid clyinder fired up now got sweet responce will order new stator thow ,thanks for ur help kids will be happy to go tubbing.
