MIke - Mercruiser Vapor Locking

I have a 2000 Searay with a 350 Merc. After I cruise for 30 minutes or so and slow down to no wake speed it will vapor lock and quit. I have to remove the fuel filter and fill it with fuel before it will start again. Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this.

are you sure its vapor lock?

try changing fuel to E-0 as a start

crack your fuel cap and check. do you hear a whooshing sound? if so, its a plugged vent

With unlimited cooling it is virtually an unknown problem getting vapor lock. More likely sucking air between pump and tank or some other simple issue. Only hard part oof 'simple' is how hard they can be to find.
