Military Monument in Washington D.C. honoring 41 million military and veterans

All names will be displayed! That includes me, my dad, my cousin and other family members. All veterans and active duty. Right next to the Lincoln Memorial.

I'm VERY tempted to take the long trip up there just to see this one. More connection to that than a lot of the others.

I wonder how this will actually be done. I entered mine, my Dad's and then John Smith and all gave a 6 digit code. Now figuring just how many John Smith's there are over the years, and how one 6 digit number will be able to find the correct one, or are there just one John Smith for all?

They said something about a very large John Smith population, but I expect that they'll have a way to narrow it down. Birth date and other factors I guess.

They have an option to add a name, but they want my email and phone number. Email I don't mind, but why my phone number? They get paid more selling that in addition to the email?

My name is there (not actually seeing it other than a graphic) but their are no dates, military designation so it can be anyone with the same name.

You know, you might be right. Their computers might not be able to "scrape" data from prior classified programs.
