I have a 86/87 johnson 30Hp outboard that I first started having trouble overheating, which was fine last year, took it to a shop had carb cleaned etc. first ?, wonder if and how that might affect this problem of overheating. I have a stream at the pee hole,but not much out of exhaust, I removed the cover plate for the th stat - replaced th stat -obviously this motor had been in salt water - cleaned all salt build up out -another question?- could there be salt in other parts of motor I need to address.<br />finally I now have a milky liquid in one of my cylinders (obviously not firing )what the world is that all about - I can only imagine the worst ie cracked head etc<br />Please Help ASAP would like to get on the water ASAP<br />Myron
