Minn Kota 40lb. No Power

I have a 2013 Minn Kota 40lb. Electric Motor that will not Power up when I connect to 12Volt battery. Used 2yrs ago when it worked well.
Is there some kind of reset button on this motor? I'm thinking of throwing it away or giving it away since I really don't use Electric motors. Any advice on this issue would be most appreciated.

Does the prop shaft spin freely?

I ask as one year, unbeknownst to me, the shaft/bearings rusted solid in mine. Thought the battery was shot so paid an arm & leg for one in vacation land...still didn't turn. That's when I found the shaft wasn't turning. Freed it and its been fine since. Probably needs a reseal but for the amount I use it, I'll run it till it dies.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes it does spin easily. Battery I have is only 2 years old and it's fully charged. I will probably give it away for free on Craigslist
