I have a 2003 Minn-Kota bow mount on my 2003 Glastron. It is the detachable motor that slides into a plate. Well, it has 4 bolt things (if thats what you wanna call em) that are mopunted to the trolling motor and you slide the motor on to the plate and put a pin in there to keep it in. I've lost two of those bolt deals and now the motor will move around on the mount. I've looked everywhere for these parts without luck. Has anyone else run into the same problem? Thanks

"Bolt thingys" and "bolt deals" are not very descriptive so a picture of the mount and the parts you are talking about would help. There are several manufacturers and we have no idea which you have and which model it is.

Yeah, I didn't have my camera and figured maybe I would strike a cord with someone. It's a Minn-Kota AT55 as I stated in the subject line though. I'll get pictures.

We know about the motor. We don't know about the quick release mount. If it's a MinnKota mount that has a locking screw in the right side and that's what you keep losing, go to any decent hardware store and get a handful of threaded knobs. Even Lowes has them. In the future, when you remove the motor, insert the locking screw in the base and tighten it so it can't be lost.

Ok, I got some pics. I really hope someone can identify these bolt things. I need two more. In the pictures of the bottom of the TM, you can see I only have two bolt/studs in there diagonally, to somewhat support it, but it still wiggles around. You can also see it from the top view where the nut is holding the stud in. Thanks for your time.

Those are called shoulder bolts and they may be special (non-standard) and therefore available only from MinnKota. On the other hand, many of the Mom & Pop hardware stores have draws full of special hardware that you don't find at the big box stores. Take one with you and see if you can find something that will work. If you do, before screwing them in, use a product called Loctite which is a thread locking compound. A couple drops of this stuff will prevent them from unscrewing. When you are looking for these bolts, consider a standard hex head bolt that you can make round with a simple bench grinder.
