I have a minnkota foot control motor. I did not have it hooked up with a circuit breaker/fuse and ran it aground. The directional, left/right still works. I tried a friends foot control and problem was the same. Did a direct battery hook up and the motor worked. Checked tht control board and the positive wire coming out of the board (going to the motor) shows a open circuit when the motor is turned on. Do you think the control board is definitly my problem and should I replace it? I know of no other way to check it.
