I just purchased a new minn kota maxxum 70 foot controlled bow mount trolling motor for my boat and was looking to install it but I don't have access under the bow to put nuts on the bolts. Is this model trolling motor too big to use minn kota quick nuts or isolator bolts? If so how can I go about mounting the trolling motor.

Thanks

You can put the bolts face up on a mounting board. glass covered wood, metal etc. Then depending on what your bow is backed with you can just screw the plate down or use some 3 m 4200 or 5200 and screws etc to hold plate. Just look it over and you will see the best plan. The 5200 may never come off.

Isolator bolts (or well nuts as they also called) will work fine. If you are worried about strength, use six of them instead of just four.
