MINN KOTA NEED HELP PLEASE

hi i just got this motor from my brother, it is a minn kota 36lb thrust and the throttle handle says tilt trim it moves up and down,it has turbo 65 on the top,and down on the motor part it says turbo quiet motor, it works but it only has one reverse speed and three forword speeds and you have to play with the throttle handle to get it to come on, has any one ever had this problem if so what can i do to fix it thank you

i'm totally no xpert on this matter,here.. but sounds like a perfect time to take the handle apart an spray some 'CRC' electrical contact cleaner.. work throttle back & forth many times... i bet it'll fix what ills it..

thank you crab bait<br />i will try that, can i ask you were i can get some<br />'CRC' electrical contact cleaner, do i get it at a boat store or wallyworld,k-mart ect.<br />thanks again

Check out radio shack. It might be called radio tuner cleaner or cramlon.
