Minn Kota Powerdrive V2 release lever is loose.

I just got done fabbing a mount for my new Powerdrive V2. I had to take everything off of the factory bracket and I don't think I got something back together correctly. The lever that is used to release the pin so that the trolling motor can be pulled out of the water is loose. It has no tension on it and I'm pretty sure I have the spring for the lever in the correct spot. I've checked the manual and it appears that I have everything in order, but I want to make sure I do. There's the lever, spring, a brass colored spacer, and a bolt that goes through that spacer. Is that all there is to it?

I beleave that there is a rod that connects to the hooks. If I get a chance I will send some pics. Take the serial number and phone number off the bottom of the head and call Minn tect can send a full blowup of the unit.. they are very good!
