I have an "01 Riptide 71 lb thrust hand control trolling motor. It has worked well until recently. I think it is a bad switch, but I appreciate any info here as well. Here is the scenario: the motor was working ok, but when I turned the handle to start it there was a delay. I then hit the top of the motor and it started working, almost like there was a short or something. Anyway, I did that a couple of times sucessfully and then the last time I hit it and would not start. I have power to the plug, but the motor does nothing when I turn the handle now. Thoughts??
