Minn Kota Traxxis 55 - Need mount ideas

Hey guys, I found a guy selling an Endura C2 mount, what are the chances of this fitting on a Traxxis motor??

Any Minn Kota experts? I'm assuming the shaft thickness might be different... but if it's not, this mount could squeeze by either side, maybe more on the right under the hoses.

What's the difference between that mount and the Traxxis mount, that will allow it to fit the boat? (Traxxis is wider as I remember???)

FWIW, the Endura mount has a 99% chance of fitting the Traxxis shaft, just check the shaft diameter with calipers. I hated the Traxxis mount and MinnKota sent me a different mount (Endura I assume). Traxxis mount was a weak 2 piece design and the Endura a stronger 1 piece design. Be sure to use all the Endura parts, especially the height collar. I left the quick adjust height collar on my Traxxis and it interferes with the Endura mount's quick release, it still works, but kind of a pain.

From the angle of your pic, I can't see if it's the same as the mount I put on my Traxxis, but it looks the same. Pull the head off the TM to swap the mount parts.

the Traxxis mount is round, this rounded part is too fat to fit around the transom where the hydraulic type hoses go through from the Starboard side of the boat to the motor itself. On the port side, it gets hit by the steering shaft.

I just figured the Endura mount seems thinner and much lower in profile that it might just work.

Ah, I see. I Haven't had that Traxxis mount for 2-3 years...

How much do they want for the Endura mount/shaft? You can also check fish307(dot)com as they have MinnKota parts at very reasonable prices, you would have to piece the mount together, some of it kitted, some individual parts. Though, MK shipped me the entire mount, pre-assembled...

Even if you are able to mount the TM on the transom next to the OB, isn't it going to hit the OB while in operation?

$50 CDN and he would throw in the rest of the parts (motor died apparently) so pretty much non-running Endura 30.
