Minn Kota Weedless 35

[Water Strider]

Any idea when these were made?

Can't find squat for info, except a couple for sale on the net.

I picked one up the other day for $20; it's never been in the water.

Go to Minn Kota's website. Now, over at the top right, there is a little link that says "contact."
Click on it, and there will be another page, with a lot of writing, and a few hyperlinks mixed in. Click on the one that says "contact us." It will come to a screen with a little form you fill out. Put the model number in there, and ask what year it is. They will be able to tell you. If you want, they can give you a PDF file of a manual.
You can also call them, and be able to speak to a real person. From what I have found, they have excellent customer service.

I did receive a prompt reply.

"Those were made in around 1984. Unfortunately we no longer have manuals for those."
