Minnkota RT 74/AP

On auto pilot the motor for some reason turns completely either left or right.I've had this motor for three seasons and it 's the first time it's been doing this.What could be the problem?

Have you by any chance shifted any weight in the boat? The shaft on the TM has to be with 5? of vertical or else it will do crazy things at times.

No shift what so ever,everthing is the same as before.

You probably have a bad circuit board in the head of the TM. You could take the top off and look for a broken or loose wire but I doubt you will find one as they secure them pretty good.
