miss at idle

2001 Mercury 90HP



Took the boat for a test drive. At idle it has a miss to it. Not bad but you can tell. It will stay idling though and you can idle around the lake with no problem. Give it throttle and it runs great not a miss or hesitation will cruise at 52 MPh all day long. Any ideas what to check?

When was the last time it was given a tune up?

I have no idea I am buying this from a bank it is a repo they picked up. I test drove it today and supposed to sign the papers Monday.
