I just bought a 2000 Cobalt 293 with twin Volvo 5.0's. I believe they are GLi's (throttle body injection) with duoprop drives. Anyway, it appears as though the former owner or his mechanic removed the engine alarms. I don't get a tone when I turn the key to the "on" position before starting, and when I picked up the boat the port engine hit 200 degrees because of a bad impeller and the fact that the gauge was blocked by the gps - going to take care of that this winter. Again, no alarm. Where should the alarms be located, and where can I get replacements? I have looked throughout the engine compartment and behind the helm. Nothing. There is a round connector and a bullet connector that are not connected to anything at the rear of each engine. Could that be the hookup?
Thanks guys
