Missing

I've had this 77 ,100hp Johnson since it was new now it miss's don't know what to look for yet coils stator or plugs need help asap any takers here ,,it will miss on the hose and in the water at slow speed and at WOT but after its wramed up it dosen't ,,,can anyone point me in the right direction here ////// Didn't do this till this year never had the problem before Just acts like it wants to quit don't want that to happen

Hi, Rogers.<br /><br />Your description of the problem doesn't bring anything to mind. Sorry.<br /><br />When you don't get a response it is because nobody has any useful info for you.<br /><br />What have you done to isolate the problem? Do you have a manual?

yes I have pulled comp. check 100 lbs then check the plugs seem to be ok getting fuel thought it might've had water in fuel dumped all fuel cleaned and decarbed it didn't help heading towards the coils maybe giveing out who knows it doesn't do it all the time ,,don't know if its the stator or the power packs ,,,just don't want to get cought with it way out in the water and be stuck sorta speak with out a paddle if you know what I mean and thanks for the reply

If you think it may be your power packs, you can heat them up with a hair dryer while the engine is running and see if the heat causes them to break down.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
