Hit mission bay around 10am to sunset, cruised around and hit a few shallow area's for nada. For the late bite we hit a deeper section, and the bite was on. I got 4 small sandys, and a fat spotty around 2-3lbs easy (large for species). My girlfriend got a smelt(kept for catfish bait), and 3 small sandys. While cruising out in the jetty, we got to see a pack of Dolphins surfacing... Got some killer shots! Cool day on the water, minimal wind, great sun! All bass released.

I love the SF Bay area........but San Diego's weather and water is the best of the west.

Seeing your pics and watching your vids has sure made me homesick.
Outstanding job on the boat..............

Ehhh, San Diego is not that cool always. The city lakes just hiked there fishing and boating fees from $5 to $8 for a fishing permit, and $5 to $7 for a boat launch starting this February. I fish a lot on the lakes with my boat, so this sucks. Good fishing though, you can fish all year long no problem.
