I am wondering what the value of a 75-77 35753H 35hp evinrude long shaft with eletronic ignition and controls is worth in good running order. Also what kind of steering setup do you have to use? The boat I am buying has a set of wires to the steering wheel, and on both side of where it would mount, there are pulleys. Is that the type of setup it uses? And does anyone have a link to a site where I could look up the exact year when I go to look at it tommorrow with the serial number? Thanks..

So with controls it would be 550-1000?

I am looking at putting this on a richline big 16 deep v flatbottom. It has a 75 inch beam, is supposed to weight 300lbs and will take up to a 40hp. Any idea what kind of speed it would do? It has one extra piece of plywood in the front. Thanks..

should do pretty well, price yes on condition, that is a dependable motor if,
BUYING A USED MOTOR

overall condition, condition of the place you are buying it from, usually tells you how they care for things. compression 100 + psi, and within 10% of each other, good strong blue spark, no water in the lower unit oil. look for discolored paint, (sign of over heat at
one time, also scarred up bolts, as why. have them start it. if they fail to put it in a barrell or tank, or on muffs, or in the water, to start it they don't know what they are doing. best yet is to take it for a 30 min to 1 hour test run. also if remote controlled motor, the controls should come with it.
