Model year of Evindrude Ficht RAM 90 hp

I´m beginningto doubt that my new engine is a 2003 model. The label with E-90.... is missing. the only number i can find is the series number. The series number on the engine is 4980154.<br /><br />Thanks

if moter is a 2003 it will have been made by bombardier<br />a dealer with diagnostics software can tell you year of moter as emm stores modle and serial number<br />all ficht emm ecu's store this info

Your engine is a model E90FPLSN and it is not registered with the factory. It is a 2002. Call customer service in Waukegan Illinois at 847-689-7090 with the serial number.

I will call my dealer and ask why he sold it as an 2003 and he will have to register it.<br /><br />Thanks
