I can't get this site to add a subscription when posting...

When I type a new thread, or post to an existing one, and scroll down to "Thread Subscription" and select "Instant Email..." Then submit, it posts it like it should...BUT...

I never receive an Email notification after a reply

I can even go to my "User CP" and it says "There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period."

I can even go down to "List Subscriptions" and 99% of the time, it's not there either!

I have to either search the forums for my name, go to "Find all post for ..", or scroll down in the room where I posted looking for my post, and then go to thread tools, and Subscribe again.

Then everything works as should and I get my Email alerts.

Is this a known issue?
Could one of you guys try it and see if you get the same results?
Does anyone have a fix?
Am I doing something incorrectly?

Thanks guys!

I'll ask the others if they have seen similar. I recall something, but not the specifics. I am going to move this to non-Boating technical topics as you'll get some good user input there too. In the meantime try the "My Replies" link upper right below the Welcome, Xesvuli420. That should list all new activity on any thread that you have posted on. All I use anymore . . . ;)

Just used it... Love it! Next time I post a "ghost subscription" I will update here the outcome. Thanks

Same issue, but I was able to click on the string from the forum page listing and subscribe from there and it has shown up on my list of subscribed topics. But it did not work directly when requesting it during to the new posting. Ike

I only ever you the "my replies" link as well. I got so sick of my email being flooded with iboat's, that i now have it set up so i don't get emails. I just log in and click "my replies"
